Increase Your Cash Flow in 2017

Everybody is trying to find a way to increase their cash in-flow.  Is this even possible?  Indeed, it is! Never think that you are in the dead-end of the situation.  You can do a lot to improve your finances and in this article, we present some of the best ways for you to do so:

Get a part-time job.

Dollar concept
Although the market for permanent employment has been affected by the economic slump, there are still plenty of part-time positions available in a wide variety of industries.  True, the pay may not be that big but that extra income can be very helpful in covering your daily expenses or in building your emergency fund.  Do not hesitate to take accept a part-time job as you wait for better employment opportunities to come your way.

Eliminate unnecessary services.

Do you really watch the channels in your cable or satellite TV service?  Do you really have time to watch tv or do you usually arrive from work too tired to watch television?  Do you really need those interior design or fashion magazine subscriptions?  Do you need a high-speed internet connection or can you switch to a lower internet plan? What about your cell phone plan?  You may consider switching to a prepaid cell phone to cut back your monthly bills.  Reassess your lifestyle and find aspects where you can save your dollars and use them for more important purposes.

Control your spending.

This might be an obvious solution to financial shortage but it’s also not the easiest step to apply.  Are you aware of your personal spending?  How much do you literally spend on clothing, recreation, and other personal luxuries each month?  Have you considered making some changes in your spending style?  Jot down all your purchases – from the biggest down to the smallest expense, and you might be surprised at how much you’ve been spending on unimportant items.

Sell goods.

Here’s another practical suggestion on how you can make that extra money to pay for your debt or contribute to your savings fund.  Do some selling.  You can sell some of the old stuff that you’re really using anymore or just sitting on the shelf or in your garage.  You can also create crafts and sell them at open markets, to your friends, or online.  Yes, you can always use your creativity or artistic side to get yourself out of the financial crisis.

Avoid credit card debt.

Why pay more on credit card interest rates when you are working hard to increase your cash flow?  If you can’t pay your credit card purchase in full, skip the purchase altogether.  Don’t charge it to your card if you’re not sure how or when you will be able to pay it.  Most credit cards today carry interest rates ranging from 5% to as much as 19%.  Imagine how much money you’ll be throwing away if you have a $300 balance on your credit card and you’ll pay 19% of that amount each month.
