People were borrowing more than they could afford and more and more banks were using bad loans as securities that were not worth the electronic blips they were written on. People in general will still spend more than they can afford, borrow more than what they can pay back. In order to protect the credit system the government has set in new guidelines.

We face financial crunches time and time again and therefore take loans to help us get through the situation. However, many a time we make a mountain out of a mole hill – making a small economic snag seems like an impossible accomplishment and so … we take loans again! In UK especially, taking a personal or consolidation loan has become a part of life.

Is this a good idea? If I were to use personal loans to purchase a used car would that be a bad idea? It’s just that I’ve been pre-approved for one already and since my credit isn’t great I don’t know if I can get another approval for an auto loan.

I just recently came back to the US after traveling and living in South America for quite a few years. Mainly in Brazil which is an amazing place. Anyways before i left i guess i had left a few dollars not paid off on one of my credit cards and as you could imagine that really built up and pretty much destroyed my credit. Well when i came back i went to get a Personal Loan to be able to find a good place to live and as you could probably guess i was turned down for the loan due to my credit history. Now i am left living at an old friends until i can figure out what to do. Please, any suggestions will do, thanks ahead of time for your help!
